A classic cocktail from Cuba (pronounce mow-hee-tow), whose history dates back to the 1500s when Sir Francis Drake landed in Havana Cuba, to sack the city of its gold. The story goes that Sir Drake’s crew were suffering from dysentery and scurvy. The Local South American Indians were known to have remedies for many diseases, so a small party went ashore and came back with ingredients for a medicine. Margaritas are fantastic to enjoy with Mexican food, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, or to have by the pool just relaxing. This fresh fruit recipe is frosty and delicious, blend a batch and enjoy! Ingredients 1 orange peeled, cut in half and seeds removed 1 lime peeled, cut in half and seeds removed 1 lemon peeled, cut in half and seeds removed 2 ounces agave syrup 12 ounces Tequila 6 ounces Triple Sec 6 cups of ice cubes 1/4 cup water Instructions Place all ingredients in a blender and blend well about 45 seconds.
