Kitchen Paper Clutter
This morning I was texting with my best girlfriend, and she wrote I have to do a “Judy” (which amongst my friends and family this means something needs to be de-cluttered and organized), I am guessing she must have been looking for something in her kitchen and came across a drawer full of take-out menus and magazine clippings of recipes. My response was the “Tip of the Day” find a 3 ring binder and after you toss out anything that you don’t care for. Use a 3 hole punch and place them into the binder. That gives you back a kitchen drawer and you can store the binder with your cookbooks. Ok, so that was the quickest solution and should not take more than 15 minutes to do. This solution is also good for anyone that is not a computer person. If you want to go that extra step, I would use some sheet protectors in the binder along with some dividers, place each recipe in a sheet protector and then label the dividers by categories, (appetizers, soups, desserts, etc). I would use a separate binder for the take-out menus and place them alphabetically. If you are a digital/computer person, then just toss out the menus, you can look up the restaurants’ menu on the web when you are going to order. As for the recipes, you can pretty much google any recipe on the web, or you can scan the ones you have and file them on your computer in a file labeled recipes.
